As time passed, both of them also came to know that they love each other and have a feeling for each other and due to this, both of them got married to each other in the year 2004 on the will of their family.
After having known Aarti for 14 long years, Sehwag thought of taking their relationship a step further. When he turned 21, he decided to propose to her, to which she said yes.
Even though the two were madly in love, her family was reluctant at first, given the fact they were distantly related. But watching the two being so serious about each other, the family finally gave in.
